There's my company Photography by Ward and
there's me, Dayve Ward photographer. It's not just
about commercial photography as a business, I love taking photographs
for my own interest too.
I'm passionate about all my photography
and it's not just a career but is a hobby too, embracing both Cumbria
landscape images and fine art photography.
Photography
experience
I've been a professional
photographer since leaving college in 1989,
and in addition to working in commercial advertising photography
have also been both a medical and a forensic photographer.
I've been in business in Cumbria since 2003, successfully
establishing a reputation for high quality effective work.
Photographic
interests
For years I've
taken fine art photographs
both inside and outside the studio
and the surroundings of Cumbria do provide a great soure of images.
Not content to show my images to friends and family I have
also exhibited my art photography
in several prestiguous venues. My creative
photography exhibition on the theme “A Floral Dream” appeared
in venues around Cumbria including at The Brewery Arts Centre,
Brantwood and Farfield Mill and was well received.
I'm a member of a local Fine Art Photography
group called IPAg,
and we meet regularly to talk photography and take photographs.
I love my
subject and am always keen to share knowledge about
photography. I've run evening courses on taking photos and I write photographic articles for
business newspapers. I produce a regular photographic Q&A
column for the bi-monthly "Craft & Design" publication on the
subject of photography for business and have started to put
photography-related advice on this website. I have also run classes and workshops on photography.
Continual investment in professional level
digital equipment and software, and continual updating of my
professional skills (to say nothing of continual striving for the
perfect result) ensures that the highest
quality of service is provided at all times. Use the link
